Doing This Simple Thing

Still working on self improvement. My life really is getting better.

• I had breast cancer which is now in remission
• My debts are getting smaller
• No longer have as many bullies in my life
• No longer feel as sad
• No longer worry as much

Triumph!: Won initial battle with breast cancer. It is officially in remission. My oncologist says I do not have to see here anymore. This self realization must work. What a journey it is!

Learning to Let Go

Well I had a battle with cancer. Yep the big "C". It was breast cancer.The oncologist said it could come back.

However, rather than see this as a damnation, it has been a
blessing in my life! I will explain below. Let me know what you think.

Cancer. The word strikes fear in many people.Somehow though when the doctor's affirmation that I had the same did not scare me. Stay tuned and continue reading. I will explain to you why.

• It seems all surreal
• I decided there was nothing I could do about it except do as the doctor says
• Worrying accomplishes nothing and may make a situation worse.
• My mindset was for victory
• Not everyone dies from cancer.
• There are foods and other things that help in the case of cancer.
• I felt no  pain what-so-ever
• Fearing death is not a prevention of death
• I have good insurance
• I put it in the hands of the Lord and asked him to take over.

Still reading, I am on the last chapter of  As A Man Thinketh. Serenity is the title of the chapter. I believe I will have to re-read this little book.

Is man truly what he thinks? Can this be proven? Does God like thoughts build a man? Is this what Jesus Christ meant by the Kingdom of God is within? Luke 17:21?

Here are some of the ideas from this chapter:
1. To achieve sacrifice is necessary
2. Elevated thoughts bring achievement
3.To Conquer weakness put away selfish thoughts.
4.The Universe does not favor the greedy, dishonest, cruel but may appear to do so.

Lessons today:
Man's circumstances is an exact ratio to his thinking.
The soul attracts what it fears and what it loves.
Every thought seed produces it own fruit. Good thought=good outcomes
Circumstance does not make the man but reveals him to himself
Man is the master of his thought.
Men do not attract what they want but what they are.
